How it works
Public-domain sources

Built entirely on public-domain and openly licensed sources — PubMed, CMS Medicare coverage policies, FDA device clearances, and NLM clinical terminologies. No paywalled content. The intelligence is what we build on top.

Clinical knowledge graph

Evidence is organized through a clinical knowledge graph — concepts, relationships, and provenance. Answers traverse the graph and expose the path from question to source.

Provenance per claim

Every claim links to its primary source. Strength, consistency, and directness are appraised explicitly. You can read the article behind the answer.

Honest about uncertainty

Insufficient evidence is a valid response. When the literature doesn't support an answer, the platform says so. Confidence is surfaced, not hidden.

About

LunasAI Health is clinical AI infrastructure for evidence-based medicine. It retrieves, appraises, and synthesizes peer-reviewed literature, coverage policy, and regulatory data — grounding every answer in traceable sources.

The platform is built entirely on public-domain and openly licensed sources. This is a deliberate choice: clinical evidence should be accessible globally — to any clinician, researcher, or patient who needs it, regardless of where they practice or where they live. LunasAI takes its name from lunas — a Tagalog word for cure.

Mission

LunasAI's mission is to make the full depth of clinical evidence — peer-reviewed literature, diagnostic coding, and payer coverage — queryable, traceable, and honest about uncertainty.

OrthoLunas

The specialty proving ground for the underlying platform — the first vertical, weighted toward musculoskeletal medicine. Currently used in clinical practice at Baylor College of Medicine.
